Spring 2025 YOUTH LACROSSE: 3rd - 8th Grade Boys

We're preparing for another great Spring season of youth lacrosse. Looking forward to seeing our returning players continue to grow in the sport and introducing new players to this fun action packed field sport.
Boy's Age Groups: 3rd-8th graders
Format: Full Field 10v10
KEY DATES Spring 2025
1st practice: January 21st
1st game: end of Feb (tbd)
Last regular game: weekend of April 26th/27th
Championship Tournament: weekend of May 3rd/4th
PRACTICES
Tuesday and Thursday, 5p - 7p at Pinckneyville Middle School Turf Field,

First practice: January 21, 2025
Spring Break: Week of April 7 no practice
Last practice: May 1, 2025
Practice days: twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays
GAMES
Opening weekend of games will be the first or second weekend in February (TBD)
Games will continue until the end of April (or beginning of May)
Spring break (April 5/6 and April 12/13): No Games
Championship Tournament will be held weekend of May 3/4 (weather permitting)
We compete in the Newtown Lacrosse League
Play time will depend on hard work and skill level
Most weekends will only have one game per weekend.
We may have one double header during the season.
Our home field is Cemetery Field in Norcross.
Away games are held at local parks (typically 20-45 min) from Peachtree Corners.
HOW TO REGISTER
(1) Register on the NYAA website (see registration link at bottom of this page)
(2) Lacrosse registration fee is $225 before December 1, 2024. Registration fee is $250 on December 1, 2024 and later. Boys Equipment needed to play:
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads (required to be NOCSAE certified)
- Lacrosse Stick
- Arm Pads
- Gloves
- Cup
- Mouthguard
- Cleats or Turf Shoes (Football cleats are fine)
Girls Equipment needed to play:
- Goggles
- Girls Lacrosse Stick (Crosse)
- Cleats or Turf Shoes
- Mouthguard
Equipment can be purchased in a starter kit at SportStop.com, Lax.com, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports, or Play It Again Sports. NYAA also has some rental equipment available.
