Registration Information
Registration is open to all boys and girls ages 6-15 years old on or before September 1, 2025. Registration is open from mid-March to early-June for the 2025 Tackle Football Season. NYAA offers online registration and three (3) in-person registration dates. We adhere to GFL Sports guidelines, and once the registration period is over, we cannot guarantee a player's space on a team.
Registration Fees are TBD. Registration fees cover athlete insurance, league fees, county fees, spirit fees, operation expenses, two game uniforms, helmet decals, trophy, banquet and more. All players are required to pay a mandatory $100.00 spirit fee in addition to registration fees. This spirit fee will go towards your player's individual team funds to be used throughout the season. There is a $90 out of county fee for non Gwinnett residents. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Player Certification
Certification is the process in which the league will verify that the players are in the right age group and rosters are verified for the entire season. Each player is required to be certified by the GFL to compete during the season. Player certification includes age verification, school/grade verification, and a current calendar year sports physical.
Documents needed for certification: Original birth certificate, school document, and original physicals. Physicals must be dated on or after January 1st of the current year.
Equipment Needed
Each player is responsible for providing their own: helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, game thigh & knee pads or girdle, practice pants, practice jersey, socks and cleats.
Practice Information
Practices are held at Cemetery Field - 211 Cemetery Street Norcross Ga 30071. Our team will practice on the football field located at the bottom of the park. Regular season practice for our teams will start in August. Practice will take place 3 days a week for 90 minutes, typically from 6:30-8:00pm and 8th grade will practice for 2 hours. Head Coaches will determine practice days.
